The WayWard project has been funded by The Health Foundation, which is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. The aim of The Health Foundation is a healthier population, supported by high quality health care that can be equitably accessed. From giving grants to those working at the front line to carrying out research and policy analysis, The Health Foundation aims to show how to make successful change happen.

The WayWard project worked in partnership with the Royal College of Physicians. The Royal College of Physicians works closely with clinicians by providing educational and professional support to doctors. It works with hospitals and other NHS Providers to measure and improve the standard of patient care, and contributes to healthcare policy.

Horizon seed funding supported the early stages, development and provided administrative support throughout the project.
